Helpline: Caregiver Support

Many people quickly learn how challenging it is to be a family caregiver, and it seems to happen when we least expect it. It's a formidable hurdle to manage your new life, schedule, and routine when caring for a loved one. Family caregivers must reach out and ask for support, and ExtendaTouch is here to help! The ExtendaTouch caregiver support group will enable you to connect with actual people who experience the same daily challenges.

ExtendaTouch is entirely free and is packed full of stories, friendly advice, and resources that can help you feel part of a positive group. All types of people gather to share experiences and caregiver support that can help everyone live their best life while providing care for their loved ones.

Hi everyone! My name is Rebekah and I work in a skilled-care nursing facility in central Georgia and have spent the last 9+ years helping residents with their individual needs. Support is such an important part of the process and I would love to offer any assistance that you may need. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you simply want someone to speak to and I would be more than happy to help! Take care, Rebekah K.

My entire career has been serving older adults in many areas. I am a licensed nursing home administrator and assisted living administrator and have managed both for-profit and non-profit communities across the country. Probably the way I might best contribute is to answer questions if anyone is searching for a nursing home, assisted living or other type of housing. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to care for a loved one 24/7. God bless.

I can help you identify and set up technology to communicate with your care-recipient if you are remote. I'd be happy to chat and help you find the right device.
