Canada observed their Thanksgiving in October and is now experiencing a surge in Covid-19 cases. The U.S. has an opportunity to avoid the same outcome.

From the CDC: “More than 1 million Covid-19 cases were reported in the U.S. over the last 7 days.”

As cases continue to increase rapidly across the U.S., the safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving is at home with people you live with. Travel may increase your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19.

Everyone Can Make Thanksgiving Safer

• Wear a mask

• Stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live with you

• Wash your hands

• Host a virtual Thanksgiving meal
